they think it's a pcl tear, so he wouldn't need surgery probably. just rehab.

This sucks, our offense will blow without dempsey and davies, and our d needs onyewu in the back. This team will lack tge physicality of the other european teams we are playin.

what sucks is bob hates torres/adu, and this could be a good shot for both of them to get looks as AMs

Nah, if he doesn't have surgery, the max would be around 2 months.

he'll need time to trust it and get back in playing shape though

what i mean is, is that since the WC is in 5 months, he'll be fine for the cup unless he has a rehab set back

Right, we just have to hope it's not the ACL and he'll be fine.

He was form was awesome recently. As long as it is a PCL, he should be alright. But son of a bitch.

I think Gucci Mane and Deuce should have 2-3 months time to get fit and in form for the WC. But the question is will they have enough time to see action and not just idle on the bench. They may be 100% healthy but if they're not getting reps, their use to the USMNT will unfortunately be limited.

you think it will affect gooch that much?

i guess since we've had to re-shuffle the backline he'd have to get used to the new ways

who are our probable backs? specter and?

god hates amurka right now.

Davies has sparkling form in South Africa, bags a couple of goals in Ligue 1 and then has a devastating injury.

Gooch, in form with Standard Liege, gets snapped up by AC Milan, goes down in a subtle movement sidelining him for several months.

Dempsey has been a rock for Fulham this season and now may be the latest in our string of shitty luck.

Yea I'm one of those casual soccer fans. I get into it a couple months before the World Cup each year and that's about it. Those three plus Donavan are like the only four I know and three of em are injured, NOT GOOD!

it depends on who's healthy. If we have gooch and demerit in the center, you could possibly move bocanegra to the left, or you could have demerit and boca in the center with cherundolo on the right and spector on the left. We just need to make sure bornstein doesn't play.

The good news is that Dempsey and Onyewu should be back for South Africa. Davies has said his rehab is going well, but I still think he has a lot to overcome to get ready by May, in order to practice with the team and get ready.

I am curious to see whether Jermaine Jones will be ready in the next few weeks. DeMerit is 100% back, as is Edu, and DaMarcus Beasley is showing signs of life for the first time in 5 years.

i think this is optimal

i really think specter needs to play on the right. best cross on the team
