I am not saying that but people need to step away from the ledge. This guy is not going to come to lsu and tear shite up like Winston or Johnny football.

Lsu doesn't need a QB like that to win a NC. How do you not know this

Who knew Winston or Manzel would?

But I agree, he's not near ready and definitely ain't beating out Jennings

I'm going to go out on a limb and say without doing any research that this is the first time ever that a previously undefeated team gives up 77 points in a state championship game.

But give credit to the Wreckin' Rams O!

He is coming to LSU for one reason - Cam Cameron. After a redshirt season and another year behind Jennings he will have 2 years under his belt working with a QB guru. LSU fans are so picky. Bama and Ohio State would gladly take him off of our hands. He is going to be great and IMO has a higher ceiling than Jennings, who I think has a high ceiling himself.

Well no, he's not going to start. We don't need him to.

He's awesome, but not SEC awesome.........got it!!!!

How did you not understand that? He's not ready as a freshman in the SEC.

And to the other dumbass who said last 2 Heisman winners were FR...moron.

Harris is an early enrollee...Between January to his RS Fr season he will have had 2 springs, 2 summers, and a full fall. It's unreal how much a kid will improve in that amount of time. You're seeing guys like Manziel and Winston win Heismans now because of stuff like that. They're "freshmen" but they are second year players just like Tebow and other guys who have won Heismans as Sophs

But he isn't going to walk into lsu and become Vince young or whoever y'all want to anoint him to be. Miles ain't gonna start a true freshman unless he is forced to by injury.

Who the frick said he was, and why do you care what others think????

Kudos to Acadiana...and Parkway has done well all through the playoffs in spite of no home games.

Kids got a lot of tools. It's good that lsu doesn't need him to jump in right away. He can learn under great a qb developer and not be rushed in and have his head get screwed up.

I'll say this about Harris. With THAT defense for Parkway, they wouldn't have made the finals but for Harris. Very excited to have him as a Tiger and I hope LSU never needs a true freshman to start at QB.

Vermillion Catholic's record 63 points lasted about 10 hours.

Parkway is a fringe playoff team at best without him. He carried them to the state title game.
