I used to think he was okay, but he has gotten to be pretty bad. He makes the dumbest comments sometimes.

I swear 90% of that job is just sounding right. All of those guys are doing impressions of one another. Most of the time you don't even know what they're saying, so as long as they have the right sound they stay employed.
When you stop and listen to what they're actually saying, it's mostly cliches and 'look at this' type stuff.

Hes really good. Now that Romo has toned it down from an 8 to a 5, hes the best. But without Collinsworth I bet we dont get Romo.

I always say if you don't like the play-by-play and color commentator get a friend to come over to your house one does play by play the other one does color commentary problem solved

The real question is who takes Al Michaels’ job when he retires? Al is the GOAT and I’ll miss him when he calls it quits. I’m on board with Mike Tirico, and I assume he was hired by NBC with the understanding the job will be eventually his.
