He's only half. His mom is white.

Anyone who picks Dak over Goff deserves to be alone for the rest of their lives.

This board says Mcvay is one of the best coaches in the game

They say Garrett is one of the worst

Dak and Goff put up similar numbers last year, yet Goff is better. Weird logic path

Goff was the worst qb in all the nfl the second half of last season

63.93%, 1760 yards, 11 TD, 5 INT, 26 sacks

62.66%, 2263 yards, 15 TD, 7 INT, 16 sacks

Really?

If Goff was the worst, was Dak the second worst?

Daks passer rating was about 15 points higher

So no

91.9 vs 91.7

ETA:
My bad, apparently I screwed up and chose the first 9 games of the season for Dak and the second half for Goff.

Dak’s first half of the season was much worse than Goff’s second half, but Dak’s second half of the season was better than Goff’s.

Anyone saying it’s not debatable on either side is biased. It’s absolutely debatable.

They basically flip flopped, Dak started the season bad and finished better, Goff started the season playing well and ended playing worse.

Overall, I don’t see how you can look at their seasons as a whole and say that Dak definitively played better than Goff.

Yes that Vinovich is a really valuable player...

You apparently missed when Goff drive the Rams down the field twice against the Saints at the end of the game.

Yes, the Saints were screwed and robbed. However the Rams made some absolutely clutch drives and plays to win that game. Goff was lights out on the 4th quarter drive that led to the FG to send the game into OT.

This was my train of thought when I saw this thread "Goff, obviously....hmmm wait I bet their stats are probably really close"

Goff played an entire month last year with a passer rating of 75
He played another entire season with a passer rating of 63.6

Dak has never done that level of constant suckage

Unless losing in the super bowl is a badge of honor now

I’d say winning an NFC title and making the Super Bowl is better than never making it and never winning an NFC title

And yes, Goff bringing the Rams to the Super Bowl after his rookie season is definitely a badge of honor

Look at their overall performance from last season and tell me with a straight face that Dak had a better season last year. Goff’s low point last year was worse than Dak’s, but his overall statistical season was better...

His second half was so terrible, his rating over the second half of the season was 11 points lower than Dak’s, but somehow Goff ended up with a rating 4 points higher for the entire season.

But let’s discuss the playoffs

Dak and Goff faced each other

Dak

62.5%—269 yards—2tds—0int—99.2 rating

Goff

53.6%—198 yards—0tds—0int—74.4 rating

Dak outplayed him significantly, but football is a team sport

They faced the same defense making the comparison valid?
