Schwarber stacked Kane County fricked

Add Schwarber to OP. Put that motherfricker in bold. Make Kris Bryant's stats even more absurd.

Kris Bryant has set the bar for how to destroy minor league pitching. Right now Kyle Schwarber is on track to set it higher.
Javy Baez went yard last night at AAA, his 11th.
I believe Bryant is still participating in Southern League All Star festivities.
The other Baez, Jeffrey, hit his first HR. Justin Marra, a catcher, hit his second. There are some very, very interesting prospects starting out their seasons at Low A Boise right now and these are two of them.

Day after Southern League allstar game. June 20. Or that's what i'd pick in my office "when does krush bryant dominate another level" pool.
Well shite...can i atleast take half credit since technically i had the day (day after southern league allstar game) but didn't have the date right?
Great news by the way.

Bryant to 3rd, Villanueva to AA? His glove is elite, but his bat right now is not good

I mean that's what I'd do. Like you said, we know V's glove is top notch, but oof, those offensive numbers.

That guy needs to get on the field

I go back and forth about that...in one sense it wasn't the same hammy (or was it quad) that he injured this most recent time, so hooray it's not some lingering nagging injury to the same body part. But then i flip and think, damn this guy gets hurt everywhere.

He's got sand in his vag for sure. Had he remained healthy, we'd probably be talking about him in 2014 in Chicago.

Cubs are also promoting pitchers Arodys Vizcaino and Armando Rivero to AAA Iowa.
Edited to Rivero; thanks LE.

Was he one of the pitchers we signed last year while blowing through international free agency?

Rivero, 26, was one of the Cubs’ big-ish Cuban signings last year, netting a $3.1 million bonus. He didn’t arrive until later in the year, and dominated the low minors in relief before pitching in the AFL. This year, it’s been more of the same for Rivero, who’s posted a 1.56 ERA over 34.2 innings at AA Tennessee, mostly serving as the closer there. He’s struck out an absurd 54 batters in that time, walking 16.

quote:Yep. $3.1M bonus. 26 years old. 1.56 ERA, 54/18 K/BB ratio (absurd) in 34.2 IP.

geez...our bullpen is stacked (obviously assuming that vizcaino and rivero make it to chicago)

The BN article hinted that if they do make it to Chicago, it opens up the possibility of stretching out Neil Ramirez and Justin Grimm as starters.
Got to love what this regime is putting together.
