2 of their top 4 or 5 guys were out. And they are going to only get better with the assets they have. They are not going anywheres. A little untimely injury luck says little about where they are as a franchise imo.

Speaking of crashing and burning….two playoff series wins in 24 seasons of basketball?
Must absolutely suck to be a New Orleans Pelicans fan.
My favorite thing about the Pelicans is that the tickets are more affordable when they come to town since no one really expects much of a game. True story.

I don't follow the NBA very much but I wanted to watch this series because I thought Chet-Wemby would be cool to see. I was wrong. Chet looked like Chuck Nevitt compared to Wemby.

Injury Luck determines nearly every title. i am pretty sure OKC wins both last year and this year if every squad is healthy.

why are there always excuses? Every team has injuries and every team has bad luck. Was OKCs title last year fraudulent because haliburtons leg exploded? How about they just got beat and leave it at that?
The thunder and their fans have earned the hate. They should embrace it and quit whining. As to the pelicans, they suck arse and always will suck arse. You don’t see pels fans making excuses though. They aren’t good enough and their organization is comically inept. No excuses they’ve earned their suckitude

Giannis gets to pick his next team. It’s foregone at this point that he is going to Florida most likely Miami.
