I still think Arrieta gets the ball in that situation if he feels like he can go. If you have to, you have Lester come out of the pen.

I will never understand that, and if I was the manager I would make sure the guys knew. You get, what, maybe four at bats per game, and you can't give it 100% out of the box on any ball that is or might be fair?

I don't think they would, but if we keep playing like this it won't matter, we'll have plenty of time to juke the lineup to solve the problem. Hell by then we might all be clamoring for lester anyway.
