Lester's about to get 4 K's in the first inning. It's a bold strategy, Cotton.

It's like Rodon and Lester have intense game of difficult inning bingo going on

So glad he's heating up. Now I have zero issues making him that QO.

Is it just me or does Madden's retarded "pitcher bats 8th" schtick bite his team like every fricking game

Dude is like LaRussa - good managers but really try too hard sometimes.

I would not be upset at that at all. There are plenty of times that I'm more than happy that the pitcher hits 8th. Be upset at Ross's shitty AB.

I like it. I've found myself saying the same thing on the few occasions it burns us, but overall i like the plan. I think it sets russell up to succeed a lot more, which in the long run is much more important to me.

And this. This is when I find myself second guessing pitcher batting 8th, but that's only because i'm looking at it in a vacuum

I just cannot understand lester's issue with throwing to first. He's a professional athlete who gets paid millions to throw a baseball, and very well at that. It just doesn't make sense.

Think it's about time the Cubs put their foot down and make Jon Lester take David Ross' cock out of his mouth. I know Lester loves him and shite, but dude is garbage and is hurting the team at this point.

David Ross, bro.

The Cubs really need to talk to Lester about this. This could be a HUGE factor on if the Cubs are in a play-in game whether Lester gets the ball.

(I'd throw Arrieta anyway.)

I don't think Lester is good enough to demand his own 40 year old personal catcher who sucks, especially when you're holding back young players or taking up a valuable roster spot for him.

Boy when Lester is good, he's dominant. But when he's struggling and all mind fricked he's very very bad.
