Cubs win while Edwin Jackson loses at Wrigley Field

Man, that feels good. It is amazing to see what this team is doing with four rookies in the everyday lineup. Rookies are supposed to be below league average. They will only get better.

My feelings about Edwin Jackson have done a complete 180. Love that guy.

This division is crazy. Going to be fun coming down the wire in September.

I love to make fun of the Cubs but you all have your shite in order moving towards the playoffs.

The Central is the best division in baseball.

Exactly. And we want to trade Julio?

Next year they can call themselves Miller and the AAA guys.

Above anything I expected. Fowler is quietly having a monster second half. Hitting .313 with 6 homers and .433 OBP his last 30 games. .400 with a .500 OBP his last 15.

Solid lead in the WC, next the Division. Is this the year? More than I ever expected this season.

I know we've talked this year about how we're a year ahead of schedule, playing with house money, etc. But at this point I'll be honest. I'll be disappointed if we don't make the playoffs.

At what point do we start asking ourselves if this may be something for THIS year? We've blown past all my expectations, it has me wondering what can happen if these bats keep going
