Must be why Michigan refused to get a 1st down in the 4th quarter.

Did he withdraw his name from consideration or turn down the offer? That's two very different things

He should come to Dallas. Mark Cuban will treat him as the rightful King that he is.

There's rumors he and Boogie have been seen together drinking sazeracs in the French Quarter. TIFWIW.

As someone said, if you're going to be in an airplane crash in Cleveland, you want it to be on an incoming flight.

What in the wide wide world of sports is Gilbert doing?
quote:

The Cavs targeted former Detroit Pistons point guard Chauncey Billups as outgoing GM David Griffin’s replacement, offered him a $1.5 million salary, before upping it to $2 million — still well below the market value of $4 million for a first-time president of basketball ops — according to ESPN.com.

Gilbert is a clown.

Why doesn't he just do the job himself since he doesn't want to pay anyone the market rate?

I am looking forward to Gilbert being painted as the villain this time when Lebron leaves

When LeBron leaves, they'll never get another free agent - ever. Nobody wants to work for that douche.
Whats worse, they have to be making money hand over fist these last 3 years.

People can say what the want about Cuban, but damn that guy just cares about winning and is willing to do whatever to do it. Poor guy can't buy a free agent to save his life tho.

yeah it is pretty obvious that CB was LBJ's choice for GM and Gilbert put up a shitty offer to placate LBJ. If CB was Gilbert's guy then he would have made a fair market offer. Makes you wonder who Gilbert wants?

LeBron had stated--repeatedly--he wanted Griffin to get an extension. So why would Billups be the guy LeBron wanted, unless you mean "besides Griffin."
