Did Rivera ever hit 100? Watching Chapman tonight and I'm not sure i've seen heat that consistent in a long time. like 8 of 10 pitches over 100mph

Chapman has thrown 106 before. He's an animal.

the last several years of his career he stayed around 91-92 with his cutter. I would guess he may have been mid 90s when his arm was live

I actually agree. Chapman is my favorite player to watch ever. My college roommate almost killed me at an Astros game one year, when I was practically fapping in my seat while watching Chapman strike out the side for the save. He threw like 11 pitches.

I filmed the whole thing in like two minutes.

He was good for 96 with a 4 seam fastball. His cutter shattered a shite ton of bats and is one of the most unhittable pitches of all time. He's one of my favorite pitchers of all time.

Randy Johnson slider
Nolan Ryan fastball
Pedro Martinez curve
Maddox painting that outside corner

Man being a baseball fan in the 90's and early 2000's was fun!

Mo didn't need high heat. His cutter was pretty much unhittable.

Grewuo watching the Yankees. Rivera was 95 and 96 with his fastball. He threw hard enough, but that wasn't what he was known for. His cutter was filthy. It was deadly to lefties

Chapman is nowhere Mariano's level.

Congrats on the fastball tho.
