Alabama will be 4 tonight, but will be jumped after conference title game weekend by a 1 loss Pac-12/Big 12 team.

Looks like the team that started #2 will once again win the national championship.

Im guessing Clemson and UGA move up to 3 and 4 while Bama drops to 5. Minnesota falls somewhere between Oregon and Oklahoma with Penn State right behind Oklahoma. LSU at the top.

I just have a feeling Bama will get in, they are the 4th best team and clearly better than Oregon or OU. Also they would have one common opponent, who Oregon lost to at a neutral site and Bama likely beats on the road.

And imagine the Vegas odds if it's LSU, OSU Clemson and Bama. They'd all have about the same odds with Clemson trailing a little bit at 4th. Best playoff yet.

alabam will be 4, and will still not make the playoffs. But I'm sure that people will raise hell and act mega-shocked when they're in the top 4 tonight.

I think UGA sneaks in at 4. They have at least 2 better wins than Alabama. That So Carolina loss hurts, but I think the wins trump it.

I think Oregon will be 5, Bama 6 or even 7 if Minnesota slots in at 6.

Bama may free fall. They don't have a lot of redeeming qualities thus far.

I forgot Georgia defeated Notre Dame. But they beat a great Notre Dame team, not a shitty one like Michigan did.

Is there any type of logic based formula or are we going to be subject to the fricking "eye-test" bullshite again were a team that doesn't win their division must less their conference and also gets an extra bye week gets in?

Even if htey are at 4, I've consistently and constantly said they are not making the playoffs.

Minnesota has time to move up with big games against Iowa and Wisconsin coming up. They'll get into the top 5 after winning those. For now I see them in the 10-8 range.
