Matchup Alabama, Auburn, and UF vs dome combination of Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin, and LSU's 3 go undefeated.

#13 drops one after losing to #1=Screaming that's not enough
#5 loses to #12(?) and drops 7=That's absurd!

the quoted doesn't tell the entire story to the nature of those losses though, does it.

One was an arse whipping at home and the other was a 3 point loss on the road, that like or not involved quite a bit of frickery

So where is Bama supposed to be? Ahead of Auburn after losing to them?

And like I said, #13 got killed by #1. Does that mean they are worse than the 14-15-16-17 etc etc however many teams?

Honest question, is that how the commitee has handled ranked teams losing to the #1 team this season?

I'll let you answer, but I'll also tell you ranked teams have lost by less much and dropped way more, so how do you explain that?

A1abama dropped two spots. Did you melt about that?

Yeah, I don’t agree at all. I’m sure we will get some answers in bowl season though.

They’ve made up their minds. They were tired of Bama and by result of that a new SEC team showing up get penalized for it. This committee has a severe case of sec fatigue

As it should.

You're out here using shite like opponent win % as if that shite is all created equal. That's an absurd take, always has been.

Beating a 11-1 team and a 1-11 team isn't in the same vicinity as beating two 6-6 teams. Hogwash.

I'd take that bet.

Auburn's recent history against us isn't the best.

So shouldn't they be ranked behind the fricking team they lost too?

Why is Penn State ranked ahead of Minnesota?

You're ridiculous.

The problem is the big ten plays no legitimate teams out of conference. The power 5 teams they played is a joke but a nice example of computer manipulation. Playing a fcs opponent is no more difficult that number 80 fbs for an elite team but makes a difference to the computers. They then start playing each other allowing for a bunch of cripple fights to prop up the upper teams.

If we're being honest, this whole CFP committee really is a clown show.

The ranking justification seems to be changing weekly.

Is it “completeness,” quality of wins or wins vs ranked opponents this week?

Each week the narrative changes and thus the rankings to justify ranking OSU #1

If they had lost to OSU, they would be higher. Duh

Of course it is. It’s just funny to see LSU fans crying for consistency this season when it’s always been like this.

So that's what we're going with? The committee was tired of A1abama, and that's why LSU is ranked #2?

Let me spell it out for you very simply;

They lost to a team they were ranked ahead of last week. Not a month ago.

Hard to tell much from bowl season, but Kosmo's favorite predictive stats say Alabama is #3, Auburn is #6, and UF is #7.

Wisconsin is #9, Penn State is 10, and Michigan is #13. (FPI)

SP+ also says LSU has two better wins than anything Ohio State has.

These are always fun.

A1abama would be 7-5 with Michig8n's schedule.
