Mich State got the shaft the worst here IMO

Memphis can realistically make the playoff if they win out.

Fwiw, bamas win over uga IS more impressive than floridas but I guess that doesn't matter either?

27-3 vs 38-10 0 they're both asswhippings.

Without a doubt, the committee bought the "Alabama beat themselves" bit hook, line, and sinker. They think turning the ball over 5 times is fluky, but Bama has turned the ball over all season. Generating turnovers and protecting the ball are signs of a great team, unless you're Alabama, in which case it is irrelevant.

Let me be clear, Bama has earned the benefit of the doubt, but this shite is out of hand.

youre anger is pretty meaningless.

if bama wins this week they are top 4.

if they lose, theyre out.

no reason to stress about it now

Georgia was just overrated when Alabama beat them as opposed to complete trash like they are now. Wins against UGA in big games should just naturally be discounted some since UGA consistently shits themselves in big games.

On the road vs neutral site. Chubb vs no Chubb. Season alive and well vs. demoralized team and dumpster fire.

You can talk shite about Bama for a variety of things , but their win against Georgia is better than floridas. It's not a huge deal, but it's true.

Don't know what I want more, a LSU win to knock Bama out for good, or a Bama win to make this board implode.

I'm not stressing out, but you can't just say it is meaningless because it will all work itself out.

That is a cop out. If the committee can't be trusted to make the right decisions a this point with the criteria they're given, what makes you think they'll get it right at the end of the season.

The only think that bothers me is that they pick and choose which criteria they are going to apply to which teams, and Bama/UF is a great example. Whatever caused Bama to be #4 should have caused UF to be ahead of Bama.

It was more than just the turnovers.

The game was as big a fIuke as any in recent memory.

Nobody would expect UF to win, if Bama and UF were scheduled to play on Saturday.

True but this isn't rocket science. You need to pick whatever logic you want to use and stick to it. These rankings are all over the place, there is no consistency. You really can't even make arguments for some of the rankings they have without there being complete holes.

But their loss is worse and it's to a team Florida destroyed.

Doesn't really matter and will likely work itself out. But I've got some level of beef with Bama being in.

I think they're being forgiven because "Alabama". Based on what they've done in the past. "Well they turned the ball over 5 times. Thats uncharacteristic." Why do they get a free pass for playing a sloppy game at home? In my eyes, playing poorly at home and losing is something that should be acknowledged.

How many teams can allow 24 points on 5 turnovers and lose at home and be sitting pretty in the playoff rankings?

I agree with that I was just pointing out one part of the argument since I am quite familiar with it. I hate when people have decent points but use the wrong arguments cause it diminishes from the actual points being made

The way the committee set it up, if Bama wins out they are in. Even if they do not win their division imo. That's going to cause alot of issues.
