If he lost possession and his first step after regaining is out of bounds…of course it’s a TD.

Common sense prevailed.

Wait until the Iron Bowl tonight. Im sure the SEC refs will pull out all the stops to keep Bama in tact.

That's not a touchdown. Very lucky break for my Buckeyes.

It really is demoralizing and takes all the fun out of watching games whenever every cash cow premier team gets every close call in their favor in big games

No way the B1G home office was going to take a TD away from OSU.

Yah that entire convo was bizarre that was clearly a catch and TD

That was absolutely a touchback. Clear as day. He didn’t have possession of the ball when he crossed the goal line and he didn’t regain possession until after his foot hit out of bounds.
I don’t use the word “cheating” very often, but how can such an obvious call be anything but?
Every shot was crystal clear of both the ball and his foot. This was no gray area call where they didn’t have enough to overturn it. It couldn’t be any more crystal clear than it was.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never seen a touchback like that before
I've also never seen that but it makes sense. He lost possession of the ball before he crossed, he didn't regain possession in bounds, when his foot hits the line it means the ball is out of bounds

They must not have shown the replay in the stadium too much. That shouldve resulted in deafening booing.

Yes, because that always happens for Alabama in Jordan Hare

Ballsy call on 4th down. I didn't think he "bobbled" it until after the ball broke the plane. Touchdown.
