Doesn't Penn St have some 5star QB on their bench? Why do they continue to stick with Clifford. He is awful

Yeah, Drew Allar from Ohio. They could go to him

Arkansas takes the lead, 7-3. I'm not so sure Jefferson got in but I guess we're gonna get another review.

When does James franklin get on the hot seat?

He’s not been terrible but nowhere close to the potential that program has.

Talent rich state big population, good history and minimal in state competition (Pitt is not in position to compete with them nowadays)

When he was rumored for LSU I was pretty pissed.

ETA he doesn’t have the skins on the wall to warrant the benefit of the doubt like harbaugh did

But not their defense 7 times out of 10. Makes me nervous. #26 has looked rough in the secondary today.

Agreed. Whether they’ve moved on from each and every person there during the child abuse timeframe, there’s still the stigma. I’m sure it plays a part in their recruiting too. As average as Franklin is, there probably isn’t anyone out there who is better that would want the job.

Never know until you try

Brian Kelly would have been a great fit there.

Midwestern career looking for a more football aligned fit.

3-5 UConn up 10-0 early at home in the second quarter on 2-5 Boston College.

If UConn can win they have an outside chance at making a bowl in Jim Mora's first year.

Remaining schedule is

11/04 - UMass - likely W
11/12 - Liberty - likely L
11/19 - @Army - toss up

I think it’s been long enough that it’s mostly message board fodder. They are still one of 3 big ten programs that have a change to be big time players (osu Michigan and PSU)

Campbell will be at Iowa state unless Ohio state or Notre Dame open and pursue him. Don't think kiffin will leave the SEC again.

Better or at worst lateral positions like auburn, aTm, etc might open up soon and Penn state would already have to start at like their 2nd or 3rd choice. I just don't see it happening unless he turns into a dumpster fire.
