I don't think Bama really has that big of a fanbase. State of Alabama has 5 mil people and it's split into 2 with Auburn. So maybe 2.5 to 3 million people hypothetically. Vast majority outside state of Alabama do not like them.

I think it’s ok to whine with Boise and ASU or Clemson/SMU getting a bye now. That auto bye is stupid. We are supposed to get better teams further into a playoff.
