Just re-seed. Why can't these morons use common sense?

I’m just glad they stuck to their word that conference championships don’t matter

Win or lose, it didn’t change anything in their ranking

No it's not. It's much better than a 4 team playoff.

If they leave this like it is the 5 seed is by far the best seed to have.

Completely disagree.

I think ND is a terrible matchup for them.

CFB Playoff just made strength of schedule irrelevant. There is no incentive to play in a tough conference nor schedule hard OOC games.

Probably should just make it where winning your conference gets you in and the best 4 teams get byes.

Essentially whatever 5/6 spots for conference champs and then the rest at large anyone can get the byes. That should fix number 1 Oregon having a harder path than number 5

There were rarely 4 worthy teams. There sure as shite aren’t 12

2 with the BCS was by far the most fun as you could at least usually argue 3rds case.

Yep, that backup is very limited. They'll be a tough out because they'll be well rested, but I do think they need Beck to win it all

12 team playoffs is built to solve the problems of CFB from 2000-2020

6 team playoff I think is built better to solve the issues of CFB today

Still room for up to 5 conference champs, but doesn’t require you to fill the space with mediocrity while keeping the regular season and championship games as vital

That Georgia half of the bracket is insanely easy compared to the other side

I think SMU will justify the decision by beating Penn State.

Oh well. You’re gonna have to play the best eventually.

you need to reward a conference champ, giving them a bye is a good decision IMO. Maybe reseed everyone else but conference champs need to mean something.

Except bama lost to bad teams…

This argument only made sense if they lost to good teams

4 teams was often too many, but if people insisted on more should have went to 6. 1 and 2 byes, 3-6 and 4-5.
