I used to say LSU, and I got my wish this year.

What other teams make college football better when they are annually Top 10 or title contenders?

Michigan? USC? FSU? Texas? Notre Dame? Tennessee?

USC for sure. The Pac-12 is boring when they are down.

Easy answer is USC because it means the west coast is relevent. The other regions have multiple programs and can afford schools like Tennessee, FSU, Michigan, Texas to be down.

Nobody really cares if the U is any good except a bunch of lazy internet trolls and Cubans. Oh yeah and some announcers on NFLN and ESPN, unless they get fired for some reason.

None for me. If a blueblood is irrelevant, there's a newcomer to be excited about.

Ok, fine. The service academies.

Notre Dame, because there’s six champion teams instead of five.
An ACC team not named Clemson.
A Big12 team not named Oklahoma.
A SEC team not named Alabama.
A Big10 team not named Ohio State.
Any Pac12 team.
Any undefeated G5 team.

The first year was interesting, but the last three have been a repeating borefest .

I do miss Virginia Tech being good for some reason. I don't even know why.

Notre Dame is useful because of their semi-independent schedule.

CFB is better when big P5 teams are playing each other OOC, but you can't just play any P5 scrub. Auburn/Oregon is great. Clemson/A&M is basically Alabama/Duke - dogshit.

Lane Stadium on a Thursday night was a tough place to play.

I'm hesitant on Notre Dame.

Only because the media is insufferable when they great. It's like Bama-bias x10.

USC is a good answer. It is better for the game when the West coast is good/engaged and they are like the only West coast team in a generation that has been able to move the needle. Oregon kind of did but it always felt cheap for some reason - plus they never got over the hump.

Funny, the only reason people are bellyaching about Clemson is because they’re doing what Notre Dame did long ago to make y’all think of them as an answer to the OP.

Disagree. They last few times they have been "contenders" they have been overrated AF. Last ND game I had any interest in was 05 USC and I don't remember when it was before that. Thet are just not appealing to me.
