My Heat look great today and have officially shed their Boston demons. Bulls/ Heat ECF will be a great series

Dude, almost about time to bump the monster Heat thread for a regular season recap (not a bad one either).

I wonder if there's a chance for Wade to break Jordan's record for blocks in a career by a guard? Probably not, but he's the best I've ever seen.

Wade is the best guard you've ever seen?

Does. not. compute.

I thought it was obvious that he's referring to blocking specifically

At blocking shots? Yea, he's up there.

Reading context, use it.

Yea, his subpar shooting since the all star break has really helped him pull away.

You can't mess with a 42% shot. THAT is carrying a team!!!

Yet he has somehow managed to be the best point guard in the league and lead his team to the best record in the East.

Must be a scrub.

It's been the sizzling shooting since the All STar break, obviously.

i'm about to develop a super-advanced metric

weighted total shooting %

FG% * 2
FT% * 1
3P% * 3

add THAT all together, and divide by 3

It's not like he's shooting 49% to close out the year or anything.

He's FAR more of a perimeter player than your mancrush LBJ.

So, his closeout FG% is WORSE than Lebron's average. LOLZ.

Lebron is shooting 58% in his last 5 games. 59% in his last 10 games.

Since the All Star break:

Lebron: 56.9%
Rose: 42.1%

But yea, Rose is doing a better job closing it out.
