Not like LeBron is bigger and plays closer to the basket or anything. Not like LeBron is a 8 year vet or anything. Not like LeBron is playing with another player who is in the top 5 in the world or anything.

Rose is the MVP.

I loved your Lebron is not a perimeter player argument recently. I didn't bump the thread, but it was quite great.

I love how that is a reason against Lebron. Only a hater would say that. That is an OBVIOUS reason in favor of Lebron.

Not like Rose is playing with the best defense and rebounding team.

Explain how Rose leads his team to more wins by being a less efficient and effective player? Which he is, that much can't be argued.

So you dunk/make layups from the 3 point line.

Who knew?

shite, someone finally noticed. Stern almost saw the "Heat 82-game home schedule" plan through unnoticed.

ETA: Which would be awful for the NBA.

This coming from the guy who says Rose is average at defense despite the fact that all the evidence, both statistically and from watching him actually play points to him being one of, if not the best defender at the point this year.

You LeBron fans are hilarious. You let your love of him blind you to reality.

Glad you saw that.

That was rather epic.

Later in that thread he claimed he wasn't saying Lebron wasn't a perimeter player when that was his clear intent and exactly how the debate started.

How many times this season have you seen LeBron play with his back to the basket? How often are his catches within 5 feet? Within 7 feet? Within 10 feet
?

He's a perimeter player.

What does that have to do with what I asked?

Guess which player takes more shots from 9 feet and in?

Guess which player takes more shots at the rim?

No one is saying that Rose is a better player you dumbass.

He is the unquestionable MVP of the NBA this year, which only a few dumbasses on here can't seem to understand why. What a coincidence, they just happen to be LeBronites.

Let's put this shite to bed right now.

Lebron's shot selection:

69% Jumpers
25% Close
5% Dunks
1% Tips
31% Inside

Rose's:

70% Jump
29% Close
1% Dunk
0% Tips
30% Inside

Their shot distribution is almost identical.

Have you ignored all sports media the last few months? The MVP has been a pretty heated debate this season.

So, if I don't agree that Rose is the MVP, I'm a dumbass?

You're off your rocker dude.

If you want to use the literal MVP definition, it is Dwight Howard, wayyyyyyy more valuable than Rose.

Take Rose off, they still have a top 5 defense and rebounding team. Take Howard off, the Magic have NOTHING. Oh, but you think they have good perimeter defense, so that about sums up your NBA thoughts, LOL.

But but, Lebron plays at the rim more...even though the FACTS say otherwise.

So who would you expect to hit more shots inside:

Player A: A 6'8 250 8th year forward who is the best overall athlete in the NBA today and is playing alongside the second best SG in the league who just happens to be a top 5 player in the world.

Player B: A 6'3 190 point guard who is in his third year in the league and who had his second and third best players miss a combined 53 games (albeit not at the same time).

So, how is that Rose's advantage?

You're arguing on behalf of Lebron and you don't even realize.

So, are you going to admit you're wrong by saying Lebron takes more shots near the rim? Since ya know, the facts say otherwise?

Lebron isn't only finishing inside better than Rose. He's also shooting an eFG% of 47.2 on jumpers compared to Rose's 44.1
