Kinda like you saying Rose is a better jump shooter, then denying it even though I linked it twice?

The facts are certainly of no concern to you.

You're too worried about total shooting %. Amazing that a guy who would come up with something so unbelievable dumb would EVER call others' out for there NBA knowledge. Amazing.

Any word on if Orton

only thing that I've heard is that he's hurt and not even playing right now. I think it was a bad draft pick and he will probably never pan out....hope I'm wrong. I truly think his flaws (ie: poor post defense) were covered up quite well by the likes of patrick patterson, demarcus cousins, etc. It will be interesting to see if what happens with Dwight this summer or before the trade deadline next year.

For the SECOND time, yes you did say that:

You apparently don't know how to read for shite. I said Rose is a better shooter, which he is you waterhead.

quote:

We haven't been debating that for pages now.

Actually that was the first thing I said to you. You went all hulk up and defend/praise LeBron like you always do.

quote:

Why do you praise Rose when he has flaws in his game?

I can admit the guy has flaws in his game. His 3 point shooting hasn't been all that spectacular this year. He needs to talk to TT about opening up the offense a little more to best suit his game. I feel he is letting himself get held back rather than asserting himself more.

quote:

Why can't you have a normal debate like most human beings can without freaking out like you do EVERY time?

Why can't you address the point? Why do you think I have any physical or emotional reaction to the shite you say? I'm going to go ahead and assume that you are admitting that you are an unapologetic LBJ nuthugger and are in fact gay for him. You don't seem to care to deny it, so it is now a fact.

quote:

So you're not invested in the opposite, and it's healthy when you constantly reply to my posts and it's not pathetic when you constantly reply to my posts, and you're not a teen or a lonely old guy with no life despite the FACT that you post just as much on the Lebron topic as me?

Because YOU always turn ANY discussion to a LeBron discussion. No matter what it is, you have to bring up LeBron. You NEVER say anything that doesn't hail the guy has the greatest. Hell I don't even think you can admit that there have been better basketball players. Hell you probably can't even admit that he has flaws in his game.

There is something seriously wrong with you if any time you talk about the NBA you go into defense/attack mode for LeBron. It's laughable that any person would care so much about one player's cause in any sport. I've only ever seen that from teens who really have no life other than living vicariously threw their bandwagon athlete of choice, but even then they can admit that player has flaws.

quote:

Hell, at least 95% of my posts come from work, like now, while i have nothing to do sitting in an office and have nothing else to do.

Maybe you should actually do work rather than worry about a message board.

As for where I am, it's a Sunday night, I'm home like 75% of other Americans.

There you go again, changing your argument once more.

I actually said that chicken gyros are better than beef gyros but somehow you'll turn that into me saying Jordan is better than LeBron and argue against it.

So you're spending your night alone or posting on a message board. In seventh getting paid. Sounds like your the lonely pathetic one doesn't it?

Your argument for rose being a better shooter is free throw %??? Hahahahahahahaha!!! Epic.

Finally, show me all these threads where I bring up lebron out of the blue. Ur making shite up as usual to try and fit ur argument. I respond to heat or lebron threads. You seem to think I bring up lebron in non lebron threads whichis laughable.

You constantly completely make shite up, get proven wrong, then just ignore it or change ur argument. Then freak out and resort to name calling. Like a broken record.

I believe he got hurt very early in the year, but don't quote me on that.

Have you heard about any potential trade partners for Dwight? Any potential returns? I don't buy that he's going to the Lakers. The Knicks don't have any pieces to trade and look content to try to build around Carmelo and Amare. Chicago is set with Noah and I doubt they'll mess with what they have going. The Nets could be a possibility, but outside of Lopez, I don't see what else they have of value other than Humphries.

I really want Dallas to make a run at Dwight since Chandler's contract expires. I'd like to have Beaubois/Howard going forward since I don't really see Dirk being able to throw up 20 points a game past next season and Kidd/Terry/Marion are on the wrong side of 30 now.

You sure as hell made a great argument for it, now didn't you?

Your argument for rose being a better shooter is free throw %

Is his free throw percentage not significantly better?

Oh and Dirk is a FAR better shooter than LeBron. Blee dat shite.

Finally, show me all these threads where I bring up lebron out of the blue

I'm not going back to do all of that shite. You know you do it. Don't puss out from your nuthugging now gay boy.

ur definitely a teen.

quote:

So you never respond to other NBA threads? You never start threads pissing and moaning because your boy didn't win Conference Player of the Month. Awwww poor widdle Shel. His bromance didn't win an award. Such a shame.

BTW, this wasn't a LeBron thread. I stated to you that Rose is the clear cut MVP and you went all defense mode with an assist from the All-Knowing SFP.

So are you even a Heat fan? When did you become a Heat fan? Why are you on LeBron's jock so much? No one else here dickrides any player in any sport like you do with LeBron. You literally can not say anything negative about the guy.

You have NEVER proven me wrong. I have and always will be smarter than you. That is a fact. You can chose to accept it or not, or even throw it up in your sig, and it will always be a fact. Blee dat shite.

This is awesome.

Must be Easy to be dumb enough to have no problem making stuff up, getting called on it, then refusing to find the info cause u know it doesn't exist.

Here's a list of things the oh so smarter gamecock believes:

Miami PGs better than Portland PGs
Orlandos solid perimeter defenders
Total shooting %
Doesn't know what a perimeter player is

What I'd give to be THAT smart.

EPIC!!!

How can I ever be as knowledgeable about the NBA as the guy who created total shooting percentage?

I can't compete with the guy who made that up. He's on a level I'll never be on...thank god.

I'm starting to wonder if you actually watch the NBA at all, or if you just come here and post stupid shite for attention.

Sometimes I also wonder whether you're really a brilliantly constructed alter.

I definitely think we may be getting duped by a brilliant alter. If so, i definitely concede that he is smarter than me, lol.

It's literally not possible for someone to have THESE thoughts on the NBA and also think he's so much smarter than other posters.

Have to say that it's amusing that Gamecock spends an inordinate amount of hours, days, weeks on here writing out brand new posts or long-winded replies just so that he can prove himself even more clueless about the game of Basketball than previously thought and have every knowledgeable poster on this board call him out on it.

Good times.

Better yet, he spends just as much time as me talking about Lebron.

He apparently does it from home while I'm at work, but I'm somehow the pathetic loser.

Gamecock's logic is on another planet that none of us can grasp.

I stopped reading this after about two pages, but GamecockAlum is right that Rose is the MVP. However, he is not the Most Valuable Player this year, which is probably either Howard or James, but Rose will win the award. My vote would go for Howard because his PER is a close second to Lebron, his team underwent a major make over, he is the best defensive player in the league, his offensive has improved, and the Magic would suck without him. While there are other decent choices, Howard is the best of the decent choices, IMO.

One of the things that the triumvirate of TTT, BB03, and shel311 overlook is the non-statistical element of the MVP voting. While the voters overcompensate for it for sure, you have to have to also examine "surface" statistics, such as that Lebron will win less games this year on what should be considered a better team than last year's Cavs. While I am not a big proponent of these "surface" stats being the determining factor for the MVP, they definitely matter in the equation because the casual fan would be upset if someone like Lebron won the MVP. This brings up the point that is often overlooked in these discussions is that the NBA is a business that looks to make a profit. It would not be very smart if the NBA gave its most prestigious individual regular-season award to its biggest villain, would it?

I fully understand the role that narrative plays in the MVP race. Most of the time on here I'm arguing because it's weighted too heavily IMHO. I understand the thought process behind it though. It's why Howard isn't being taken seriously as an MVP candidate despite being the MVP in the truest sense of the word "valuable".
