List is shite and CBS must not like real football.

It's so annoying when people say shite like this. Like, who anointed you, average random John Q Public fan, the arbiter and gatekeeper of what "real football" is?

Most satisfying as an LSU fan. But removing my purple and gold glasses, I wouldn't say this was the best game of the year. LSU was up 20 at halftime and even when Bama rallied late, their offense never had the ball with a chance to take the lead or tie in the 2nd half.

This, it wasn't nearly as close as the final score appears. It was one of the most enjoyable games as an LSU fan, but it wasn't that close of a game to be the "best" game of that season.

Funny thing is, they actually had it down to a 4-pt OSU lead late in the fourth quarter and were about to get the ball back. But then Shawn Crable got called for a helmet to helmet hit on Troy Smith that gave OSU an automatic first down. That play was on 3rd and 15 and Smith’s pass was incomplete. They would have gotten the ball back with a chance to win it if not for that penalty.

Yep. It's a whole different game if Crable doesn't make that hit (which would have been a clear targeting these days).

LSU-UT was a better game. I always say the same thing when I talk to Bama fans about it—we dominated for 58 minutes. But let’s be real we were all panicking for a second there before Clyde iced it. I think the biggest thing people remember is that it was such a juxtaposition to all the other LSU-Bama classics with the high scoring

Taking LSU games out of it, Texas tech over Texas in 2008 was one of the best games I ever watched.
