Because you're biased and want cleveland to lose so you and Jimi can fellate each other for being the biggest Lebron haters.

Like I said a million times, change of possession has nothing to do with this. Thompson was out when he touch the ball which makes the play dead. End of story.

So you are telling me if player A is standing inches from the baseline with clear possession of the ball, player B is out of bounds and simply reaches out and touches the ball, its automatically ruled a dead ball? If so, that is about the dumbest rule ever.

He touched the ball. It was clear as day. I even want the Warriors to win. There's really nothing to debate about this.

Don't let him bother you. He's been calling me an idiot for no reason in basketball threads today. Pretty sure he's upset with anyone who doesn't hate the Cavs. Or maybe I really am an idiot

Just like how a player who is inbounds cant reach over the line and touch the ball while the player out of bounds is trying to inbound a dead ball.

Dude, Delly didn't even have possession for part of that play. He fumbled the shite out of it.

Don't be a jackass, of course I do. But I also think that it should only be a dead ball if there is no clear possession by player A. For example if player a dribbled the ball, or dropped it, then player b reaches out to attempt to take possesion, then yes dead ball.

It's not a dumb rule. It's an essential rule to basketball. You must be established inbounds with both feet to be able to touch the basketball at any point. Possession is irrelevant. Should players be able to run out of bounds to save a long rebound?
