LeBron fouled Dunleavy.
And Noah can be moving and take a charge. It's not a rule that you can't be moving while guarding a dribbler.
Refs were fine. LeBron got fouled at the end though. Should have called it.
This.
That was the only bad call down the stretch.
Good thing Dellavedova came to calm Lebron down when he was complaining about getting fouled there at the end because if he kept going they would have T-ed him up.

I thought the Noah charge was chickenshit. IMO it was bullshite antics to get the home crowd amped up.
I haven't seen the play again, but in my mind's eye I see Noah basically shuffling over and damn near hip checking Lebron then mini flopping. I think he even stuck his right knee out in front of Lebron to make sure he got some contact.

Not as bad as I thought. I don't like the call though. Seemed like a pretty standard block to me. Like, isn't that what a block is and why they made a block a foul? How could people move if that's a charge?
He didn't lower his shoulder. Well, he did, but who dribble standing straight up? Arm was extended for sure. My biased side want to think it was just to ready himself for Noah shuffling over and hitting him. He didn't push Noah with that arm and didn't extend it into him. He received the blow from Noah.

I think Lebron could have dropped his pants, shite on the floor and still not gotten T'd up in that situation

After watching both fouls he got called for it was chicken shite reffing right there. They didn't go with the way they called the trap or the last drive by Lebron.
Also Dunleavy straight up flopped grabbing his nose. LOL. He should get fined.
I am an Anthony Davis and Pelicans. It is ridiculous how normal fans have tried to turn Lebron into a villain.
#1 the whole decision was more the media creating a stupid perception and honeslty not that big of a deal.
#2 Lebron is probably one of the best public figures we have in sports yet people criticize him when they glorify guys who were complete douchebags like Jordan and Kobe. Obviously I thibk Jordan is the GOAT, but he was a douchebag.

Exactly. I can admit that they were close and weren't the worst calls ever or anything. But the timing, along with the way they were and continued to call the game made those calls anywhere from pretty bad to bullshite.

#1 Fouls could have been called on the trap, but they were not.
#2 Dunleavy straight up flopped and grabbed his nose which was not even hit. In no way should a defender playing hard defense in a trap should have fallen like that. It was a defender trying to draw a call. You don't expect the defense to get that weak call once and definitely not twice (after the Noah questionable call) at that point of a playoff game.
#3 Lebron is trying to split the double team and Dunleavy was to the side. Kind of a bull shite thing to call and it never goes against the offensive player any other time. It really came across like the refs were trying to keep the Bulls in the game the way the officiating slanted to them at the end of the game.
Do people not watch the NBA? That in no way was consistent officiating relative to itself or the way the NBA has been refereed all season unless Lebron is now Eric Gordon

You did watch the 4th Q of Game 3 right?
Both teams are getting fricked by the refs.

Gonna steal a post from a friend of mine on another message board, but it's pretty fitting and a great thought re: Blatt's attempt at calling a timeout at the end of regulation:
fun thing about sports: he gets that timeout called, they likely lose the game, go down 3-1 and lose the series. he gets fired and exiled back to Belgium.
instead: they win the game, back to a 5 game series with home court and if things go their way he could win a title(not likely but certainly they have a shot). maybe multiple titles down the road and his legacy is that of a 'winner'.
just something to think about when people want to drop the 'rings' card on you.

The entire final 5 minutes of the 4th quarter were awful. You waste timeouts because you have James Jones trying to inbound the pass but you want LeBron inbounding on the final shot? Wtf? For Pete's sake, Blatt.

I saw Lebron say he scratched Blatt's final play and JR SMith saying it was a "dumb" play, but did Blatt really have Lebron inbouding with 1 second left?

That's what they were saying on Twitter. I hope it's wrong because oh my word...
