I think it was a catch, but it wasn't conclusive. Bottom line is don't bobble the damn ball and it wouldn't matter

The nose of the ball pretty clearly touches the ground during his bobble. Per the rule, even though he regains control, he did it after the nose touched the turf. By rule, it is incomplete.
