Carmelo is a lifelong loser. In the NBA at least.

OKC are definitely off to a terrible start... But I won't say it's a disaster yet. It is only 11 games in after all. I'd hate for this to be one of those overreaction threads that gets bumped later on.

Russ brings the ball up, Melo and PG stand on the wing waiting their turn.
Melo has always sucked arse, but I'm disappointed in PG.

He seems stubborn as hell. IMO Russ has been fantastic, but Melo and PG can't get with the program. They're playing like dicks.

The Melo/PG dynamic has been dragging him down. He needs to start going HAM again and frick them if they can't fall in line or do more than stand there.

I'm SUPER down on PG. No team is winning anything if he's the leader and the #1 guy.

I don’t think anyone would be surprised if russ isn’t able to keep those guys on their game and get his at the same time. He’s never been known for being a high IQ guy or one who has an ability to run an offense. Looks like it’s gonna be my turn, your turn ISO ball all year. They can’t keep the team together after this year anyways.

Russ is Russ, but it's not like he dribbles at the top of the key until there's 5 seconds left on the shot clock.

It might be in his hands, but the ball moves a ton. There's no excuse to not be moving around or "waiting your turn" in this offense. That's not how Russ plays.

Well if you assume he wants George to return russ knows he can’t do what he did last year. Bc look how crappy a guy like oladipo looked when Russ was chasing triple doubles all year. if George gets stuck in the same boat there’s no chance he stays.
Can russ navigate that? I don’t think anyone would be surprised if the answer is no.

Has Russ not proven that he actively gets others involved?

He isn't too proud to pass the ball.

I think PG is gone no matter what because he wants to dribble tf out of the ball and take his stupid shots and get his 28 points each night. If he isn't the offense, it looks like he wants no part of it.

I’m talking about finding a balance where russ gets his and he keeps the other guys playing at a high level. Can an offense lead by Russ get the best outta his teammates. You really gotta wonder after we see what oladipo is doing and how everyone was convinced that russ had ‘no help’ last year. Did he have no help (take a gander at oladipo stat) or is he just not able to run an efficient offense bc of his style of play.
