This kid is insane. There is nothing physical he cannot do. Would love to know his forty but more important his ability to change directions. Insane tennis instincts added make him an amazing player.
I am talking about pure athletic ability. Kind of like a tennis Ronaldo.

He is 6'1 with a muscular build. Thats not that small for anything except professional basketball.

Ronaldo is 6'2 and built out of iron. I agree its a good comparison, but both are great players in part because of their impressive size.

Sampras, Nadal, federer all 6'1 with djokavich 6'2. That seems to he the ideal height for tennis. The range of very tall, but not massive for a professional athlete. Mcenroe, bjorn, lleyton hewitt, and agassi were 5'11, which is probanly part of the reason those 4 arent as good as the first 4 with better size.

He's an awesome tennis player bc he has amazing athleticism with pretty good size for the sport. He is not messi, altuve, or chris paul who are great despite being disadvantageously undersized.

Know it's a homer pick but I'll still take Riley Cooper of LSU (not to be confused with UF)

Ever wondered why the Spanish athletes only can do that and esp when trained under Nadal's team.

Must be some kind of medical ingenuity

The dude is a great athlete. And the scary thing about it is that he will only get better at tennis.

Yeah I guess the question will be the same as it was with Nadal as a youngster. Will his body hold up to the physical nature of his game and will he always be able to play that style. Nadal did it. His injuries were much later in his career.

Anyways. If you are a sports fan try to catch one of his next matches at the French Open. The clay makes the points so much better for the men in regards to length of point. You will see an absolute specimen of an athlete.

One reason why I don't think he'll have the legacy of Federer/Nasal/Djokovic despite the outrageous amount of talent he has at only 20 years old. He's already missed significant time with injuries. Oblique tear in Paris last year, missed the ATP Finals. Withdrew from the Australian Open with a hamstring injury, and missed Monte Carlo.

What’s more impressive, especially with his serve, is he’s not 6 1, I’d be surprised if he’s 6’. Met him a couple times at the open, and was surprised he wasn’t as tall as advertised

Yup, having met Rafa, Fed, and Carlos, Fed and Rafa are taller than you think, Carlos, like you said, seems shorter than advertised
