Madden got thrown out for arguing balls and strikes. Every single call the ump made was correct.

My take is always been I don't think K-zone is 100% accurate either, for all those pushing the get rid of the upms. I think it's very good on the edges, but top and bottom of the zone I don't think it's possible to be accurate given the different stances, postures and the vagueness of the definition of the top of the zone.

The two that finally prompted Madden to get tossed were both definitely inside. The 3-2 to Braun I'm not so sure that was a no-brainer. Braun even looked like the thought he screwed up taking it.

And then Edwards Jr. yelling at the ump as he walks off.. not correct and classless

I'm old school walk back to the dugout but very, very few players and coaches are these days. It it's classless...every team and at least half the MLB players are.

So in the last month the Cubs have faced Nola, Scherzer, and DeGrom..... And beat them all. These guys are good.

I'm all about my Cubbies Hawg but 0 runs against Scherzer and Bote's granny was off the pen 2 out in ninth down 3-0 and we did put some good at bats against DeGromm but only one run and then beat their bullpen in extras.

Now the Nola win was legit beating Nola.

Starters have finally stepped up and kept us in those games. The Cub pen has been pretty solid too, today was disappointing cause Edwards and Cischek struggled badly with location and beat themselves, didn't make Milwaukee hitters beat them.

First order of business this offseason: fix the damn bullpen. No lead is safe right now.

The simple truth is that the Cardinals just aren’t beta males like the rest. The Dodgers have Puig who cries in his room on a daily basis which clearly rubs off on his teammates. The Nationals are just genetically beta, always failing when any opportunity presents itself. The Rockies are littered with beta scrubs that pad their stats in Coors and are garbage everywhere else. The Brewers are really the only contending wild card team that isn’t full of cucks.

The one Schwarbs hit last night was a similar type bomb. He just can't hit consistently, which is frustrating cause we keep hearing it's inevitable. I'm beginning to thing he's going to be more Dave Kingman at this point.

Another good outing for Q, even made it third time through without much damage. Starters have been great for Cubs, but pen seems to be having it's issues lately. Chavez gave up a big two-run shot to Grandpa Granderson last night...ugh.

Slide at home had me worried about Rizzo for a minute. He seemed to be ok later though.

That's why I posted it. Instantly thought of this moonshot when I was watching yesterday.

His feet were beaten up pretty good that series. But he was seeing the ball really well. Not swinging at some of the garbage he does when he's not going so well.
