Cards out there taking down folks contending for a playoff spot while the Cubs are squeaking them out against them cellar teams.

I can’t wait till September.

Have to be happy no matter how the rest of this weekend goes. Between us, Colorado, and Boston no one is playing better, so to get at least a game against them will help a lot with some scrubbier teams coming up

No, last week you were mistakenly saying the cardinals hadn't beaten anyone but KC and MIA. You were wrong then and you are wrong now.

And here I thought you only melted about lsu baseball. It's nice to watch you piss down your leg about the cardinals too.

Yeah this is probably our toughest remaining stretch of the season between the Nats/Brewers/Dodgers/Rockies and we're just whipping everyones arse.

He melts about everything, you should have seen how insufferable he was about Arkansas basketball last season, was rooting for them to lose at one point.

He'll mention things like weak teams when it fits his agenda, but then completely disregard it when it applies to his team like when he posts stats about their hitting or pitching against back to back teams 20 games under .500.

Predicting losses =/= rooting for them.

With the DSL season ending today, Malcom Nunez won the league Triple Crown despite missing nearly half the season due to being a July 2nd signing. He finished the year hitting .415 with 13 homers and 59 RBI.

Gorman while hitting .246 has 6 homers in 17 games. And he's still only 18, 1 year out of HS and already promoted to Peoria in half a season.

Cards need a young 3B to go with the rest of their new set. Hopefully one of those guys turns out in 2 or 3 years

It would be nice to develop a super star hitter.

Before the big tv contracts and the numbers guys, they could pick on bad teams with poor management and pry their best player away for prospects.

Wil Meyers is a perfect example, 5+ years ago, and he's already dealt for prospects. Now, San Diego can afford to keep him and add to roster.

Thank god they didn't end up trading for Josh Donaldson, whew.

If looking at free agency this offseason for 3B there is no real options other than Eduardo Escobar of the DBacks.

Blue Jays brass is debating whether or not even offer him a qualifying offer out of fear he might accept it.

How on earth could the Blue Jays not want to extend a qualifying offer to Josh Donaldson?

That is a question that has left Blue Jays fans scratching their heads over the last several days, in the wake of media speculation that the club might not be willing to do so for the former MVP, out of fear that he accepts it.
