And to think, my hate for Murphy was at nearly Steve Garvey proportions. Nearly

The Ring took some of the sting off Murphy though. It took a couple decades for the Garvey hate to wear off.

They're letting the young guys play instead of washed up dudes like Fowler and Howland.

Hudson, ONeil, Hicks, Flaherty are all going to be monsters.

Excited for our future. Just need a 3B, Gyrko should take Garcia's bench spot. If we could get Machado on the left side we'd be a WS favorite.

22 year olds, 23 year olds, etc

And they still have touted guys in lower and high A who can throw the ball.

Might not be able to produce Bigtime hitters, but they are stacked with young arms.

Still have a guy in Memphis who can throw nearly as hard as Hicks, and is raw as hell. they want to make him a starter, but with his gas, he might be an electric arm for the 8th down the road.

Late homers by our young guys, then get the save with 3 strikeouts looking with some nasty cheese. What a fun team right now

they really are. Its the type of team that even at .500 you could easily watch still.

I'm more bullish on the position players in the minors right now than the arms (since the call up of all the guys in MLB now).

I know it's mostly lower level guys, but there is some hope there. Gorman, Montero, Nunez at 3rd base (and Mendoza really). Luken Baker (and probably Montero down the road) at first base. Delvin Perez is starting to find it. Mateo Gil is looking good. In the OF Dylan Carlson might be a stud. Terry Fuller is a lottery ticket.

Amazing how far he's jumped in 1 year. He was in High school last year, now in Peoria, and struggled early, but is starting to hit the ball. His raw power is nice.

Flaherty has the 3rd highest SO/9 among rookies in MLB history.

It's a damn shame he's competing with Soto and Acuna for ROY.
