The 2005 tOSU team would have killed both imho.

05 would have destroyed 07. I think 05 and 06 would be a good game, but 05 would probably come out on top by around 10 or so.

outside of 02, 05 was tOSU's best team this decade.

I honestly believe if they played, 05 would beat 02. But obviously, 02 has the NC, so they're the best.

Our 05 team is basically equivalent of LSU's 2006 team, more or less.

that their OL, yes. we beat them because we were better, period.

I was at the game, and like I said, we just looked faster. I don't have 40 times and all that to prove it. I just have what my eyes saw that night.

You bash LSU's coaches but they buttfricked your beloved Buckeyes not too long ago. What does that say about OSU? Your team lost 38-24 to a mentally handicapped coach.

LSU was more talented than OSU in 2007

OSU lost to a more talented LSU team that year. That happens with graduation and what not ya know? Just like OSU would probably have beaten LSU this year.

But the speed myth comes down to how fast the overall teams play; and from the games I have seen in bowl season this year, they have not been faster or more athletic on the field. They are 3-3, with SCAR losing and Ole Miss in a battle.

So coaching doesn't matter? You would think if OSU had a semi competent coach, he would be able to outcoach a full retard, ya think? Except for QB, the talent gap wasn't as wide as you think.

LSU was more talented than a few of the teams they have lost to over the last two years. How do you explain that? Coaching matters.

The comparison is an SEC LB or DB or Safety vs like a Big 10 one.

Antoine Winfield, Donte Whitner, Chris Gamble, Nate Clements and Shawn Springs all disagree with you.

it's hard to make up for todd boeckman being your starting QB with a starting white WR

I'm not an expert on 2007 LSU, but we had only one good offensive player that year, Beanie. Barton, our RT, was decent too, I guess, but not amazing, or anything. We benefited from a terrible Big 10 and a down year for the top 10 in college football.

yes it was.

Outside of Gholston, Jenkins and the little Animal, who on OSU could have started on D for LSU?

Our OL >> OSU,
LSU had more depth at WR and RB.

stop bringing up buckeyes, or hell, even michigan guys (PSU to an extent)

i don't think anybody is claiming that OSU isn't talented. if they are, they're retarded

the thing is OSU is VASTLY superior to any other big10 team. the only other team who came close was UM pre-RR (they may return)

PSU generally has a truly talented team once every 4-5 years or so

the problem with OSU is your offensive talent (esp at the skill positions) has deteriorated big time since 2005
