I have seen it a few times and have it on now in the background. It is old clips of old games from 30 years ago. What is the point? I don't get it at all.

What am I missing?

I wouldn't piss in his mouth if his throat was on fire, so I can't say I watch his show. I won't be of any assistance explaining it, but it sounds stupid.

He just had highlights from the 1979 Alabama-Penn State Sugar Bowl.

Then, highlights from the Bulls-Knicks with Jordan and Ewing.

Do not get it.

Maybe his show is a metaphor for his current status. An old news has been

Is it the segment where the production staff pulls clips from him back in the day usually dressed like a clown and they laugh at him? I like that segment.

I believe this is his christmas special.

His normal show is horrendous other than the KeithLights segment, which is very good imo.

It's best not to listen to anything Olberman says.

He is a total bitch

A lot of people don't realize this, but Olbermann used to be on Sportscenter.

No. IMHO he's always been a pretentious, arrogant blowhard who has burned bridges at every stop he's been.

He thought himself too smart for sports, and moved on to politics. But nobody watched, so he's back in sports but probably still thinks he's too good for sports so tries to do some trendy, artsy form of sports show that doesn't fit the ESPN demographic.

Just guessing, I haven't watched a minute of it, nor do I plan to.

Isn't what fits Espn demographic is being a troll and only talking about 3 topics till the whole world hates those 3 topics

I applaud any show on ESPN that at least tries to be original and not yet another debate show discussing the same exact topics all day

Didn't see the segment in question, but Olbermann's always been a good sports Journalist. He was damned good on SC before he became a political hack. If you don't like his politics, fine. I don't either. But don't bash his show because you don't get it. Stick to Gottlieb.
