The kid is clearly more mature than Cam. Did he go hide under his towel in silence for a few hours after this?

It doesn’t even matter what was said. It’s a multi million dollar professional athlete letting a 13 year old kid get under his skin.

Kids heckle Cam

Cam tries to scare them to make them look like the little bitches they are.

Doesn’t work because they know he can’t do anything. Cam also knows he can’t do anything so he doesn’t.

A big ole meh burger of a thread

How does it not make sense?

Were the kids heckling Cam?
Did Cam get up in his face?
Did the kid call the bluff?
Did Cam immediately back off?

What do y’all think happened? I don’t even know the possible other side to the story.

Y’all have been blinded by hate ever since 2010 and honestly it’s quite hilarious.

Does he do everything right? Of course not but he’s a pretty good QB and a pretty good person.

Why would anyone of normal human intelligence continue to do something that he knows will not have the desired effect?

First of all, continue? Has he done this before

Second of all, how does he know it won’t have the desired effect? Most hecklers will back down when confronted. Others understand that the athlete can’t do anything about it. These kids are in the second group

Dude, you literally said those things yourself a few posts before.

No I didn't.

I was recapping the video from OP. The past tense confused you I guess but this is the only time I know of him doing this.

The kids were heckling him. He tried to scare them. It didn't work because they know he can't do anything. He also knows he can't do anything.

The present tense is what confused me. As if it is his MO for handling heckling kids.

I stand by him being very immature and not handling negative situations well at all. I don't think that can be denied.

Was it at his own camp? Maybe Cam should stop doing the camps if so. I’m sure there are still Auburn bagman duties to attend to.

saints fans watched their team beat Cam three times in a season and still can't release the hatred from their hearts because of a football season nearly a decade ago

god bless you all, and may you all one day find peace

I agree. Unless it's a discussion about Cam being one of the most overrated QBs in the league I normally stay away from conversations like this.

You know...I am no fan of Cam Newton...but those kids are sorry. Professional big name quarterback takes time out of his summer to attend a camp and teach a bunch of young people, and they disrespect the guy. He obviously doesn't have to take the time to partake, and he isn't there for the "money". Kids are gonna be smartass kids....but that is friggin ridiculous. Now if they want to heckle him from the stands, that is one thing. But doing it at a community camp like that is sorry. Hell, I would have been excited if Jim Friggin Zorn would have come to a camp near my hometown...

True.
