I mean, it seems like some of these NFL gurus get off on seeing how long their play calls can be, but at the same time, it's your job, Cam. How about put in some extra time and work to learn how to do it correctly?

I'm not like them
But I can pretend
The sun is gone
But I have a light
The day is done
But I'm having fun
I think I'm dumb
Or maybe just happy
Think I'm just happy

Cam will get hated on for this just for being Cam but I don't really blame him. I imagine it's really tough to be able to recite an NFL play.

I have severe ADHD, which leads to huge brain farts in stressful situations. I played QB in jr high and high school. The only time I had issues remembering the play being called was during games. After each play I would have to walk to the sideline, get the play, trot off to the huddle. There was always a RB or WR with me in the event that I would go brain dead once I reached the huddle. I can remember a few instances where if there wasn't someone with me that heard the play, I'd have to run back, or we'd have to burn a TO. And this was little 3-4 word plays. I can't imagine even a medicated version of me having to remember the kinds of things I've heard used for plays in college and the NFL.

I’m no Cam fan but it’s a new system and as noted in the article, norv turner can get a little wordy with his calls..

This is what will separate good QB's and great QB's. I stated this in the other thread, but Drew will get a gameplay early in the week and will go through it over and over again so he'll have it all down by the time the game comes around. You have to put in in the work. One of the many reasons JFF never worked out: he didn't see the need to put in the time.

Cam is forever a guy who will rely on his natural talent and that's it.

Drew.

Then Taysom.

Then Joe Burrow.

Then Uncle Rico.

Then Cam Newton.

Gotta be smarter to be in the elite QB discussion. He’s 2nd tier.

Yeah, I really don't see how any NFL QB is able to do it.

Cam in that mvp season was maybe as good a football player As i ever saw. Any position. Total domination Took an utter trash supporting cast to 30 something ppg. And he was the best college qb I ever saw. Just an unreal talent. Unreal. Seems to be a like able guy too.
