Hey it takes him 30 of the 40 second playclock to get off the ground and back in the huddle after the play. Give the guy a break.

Actually it’s 10 seconds to get up off the ground and then another 25 to jog 15 yds up the field, wait for the cameras to zoom in on him, do the 1st down sign, grin and slowly trot back to the huddle gloating.

At that point you have 5 seconds left just huddle up and call “Rivera “ for the next play.

I’m no Cam fan but it’s a new system and as noted in the article, norv turner can get a little wordy with his calls..

So freaking what?!?

Cam is paid MILLIONS of dollars to learn the offense HE has to operate, and he's had months to do it.

I don't recall Troy, Emmett or Michael complain about having to learn Norv's offense.

Face it. Cam is entitled and lazy. If he's a top 10 QB in the league, then the league really has shite for ANd.

And honestly it's better that he can admit that isn't hus strong suit and get a little help from somebody like Olsen. Not really a big deal as long as the play still gets off

Okay but Cam puts in as work on his body and his "natural talent" as a QB like Brees does working on the mental aspects of the game. Its not like Cam is lazy or anything. Cam and Brees have different strength as QBs and they both spend a lot of time working on those strengths.

You dont work on natural talent because well it comes naturally

He is either lazy or stupid if he cant call the plays 6 years into the NFL.

Hypothetically, if he is either and is still doing this good, the NFL would be fricked if he wasn’t lazy or stupid.

He has more mvps than Brees so if Cam is only decent then that means Brees is meh at best.

Probably so.

Plenty of athletes have been like him. Shaq is a notable example who has admitted to being lazy his whole career.

Brees is creeping up on owning every major passing record, and you want to throw something like that out there?

And has only one All-Pro appearance in 18 seasons so that tells you all you need to about his hollow stats. And he shouldn't have even been first team that year - Peyton attempted only 3 more passes that year but had 5 more td passes and 2 less ints. Throw in Peyton's rushing touchdowns and he had 9 more tds and with less turnovers.
