If Clark and Reese are on the team the US still wins the Gold medal easily and more people will actually watch.
WNBA is a failing business. They lose 10 million every year for the last 20 years. That is a 200 million deficit. They are desperate and should do anything possible to increase their popularity. Leaving Reese and Clark off the team is an idiotic move and this league deserves to go bankrupt. I hope the NBA stops wasting money on this welfare league.

The guards on the team are undeniably better than her at the moment.
The Clark fans are proving every single thing right about why she is getting backlash. It’s not her fault but arguing someone who doesn’t deserve a spot should be on the team is going to make people dislike her more

He’s right.. the Olympic women’s team is essentially a branding mission for the game.. her popularity and the future of the game are the only reason needed for her to be on the team.
If it was simply about the current best.. then there’s a few that shouldn’t be on it anyway
