Bruce has always had a little sleaze in him, but he can flat out coach. Frankly, I've always liked Pearl. He supported whatever university he worked for and helped promote the program. He probably bent the rules to win....but he WON! Give me that guy.
I'd rather have the sleazy guy competing for Final Fours than the "good guy" hoping to make the NIT. Got sit on your high horse elsewhere. WINNING is ALL that matters.

Dude, this is the MSB, not the regular rant. You can actually talk sports without being a megadouche. Give it a shot.

Announce your retirement on the first day of actual practice so there’s no choice but to go with the in house offspring promotion. You almost have to respect it.
Sounds a lot like Saban retiring in January after enrollment windows closed across the country for spring semester, making it harder for players to transfer and go through spring ball.
Bruce did this to set up Steven with a solid roster, as players are unlikely to transfer right now, even though they can. Very similar to St. Nick.

Don't players get a separate 30 day transfer window after a coaching change? Bama players, and now Auburn's, will get plenty of opportunities to be re-recruited by their second and third choices, probably for a nice payday.

Basketball practice starts in mid-October so pretty much everybody is tapped out in roster spots and money.

It shows a lack of intellect, and also a level of being mad that’s actually impressive for a message board lol

Pearl is a good dude who cares about his players, is a great coach, and isn’t scared of taking some risk while speaking his mind.
I can’t help but like him.

You haven't done any research and it shows. It's been known for several years that Steven Pearl was going to take over, dumb arse.
Agreed but he’s still a slime ball, ha!

I don't think he's any slimier than most other CBB coaches. Him snitching was much worse IMO.

'm glad Auburn will suck again. College basketball is better when Auburn is garbage.
I don't agree with that. I went up there and watched USC and Bronny James get their asses kicked, but the facility was nice, the fans were cool and it was a good vibe. I enjoy going to Auburn for football games more, but the basketball game was a really good day out, despite the fact that my team got their butts kicked.

I’ve never seen this large a group of dick suckers in one place. Pat yourselves on the back figs.
Or just have your wife’s boyfriend do it.
