BOULDER, Colo. -- J'Vonne Hadley led a balanced attack with 15 points and Colorado held USC to 21 points in the second half as the Buffaloes defeated the short-handed Trojans 68-58 on Saturday night in freshman Bronny James' first start for the Trojans
quote:

James was a nonfactor as USC raced to a 37-24 halftime lead. His struggles continued in the second half when Hadley had 10 points and Colorado took over. James finished 0-for-7 shooting, with three shots coming from 3-point range. He added two rebounds and an assist in 25 minutes.
He’s averaging 5 pts and 2 rebounds a game on 34 percent shooting so far this season Didn’t LeBron James Say Son Bronny, 19, Could Play for the Struggling Los Angeles Lakers 'Right Now'?

Lebron is no different than a travel ball dad... more at 11.

frick Lebron, but searching for USC basketball box scores to shite on his son who is less than a year removed from cardiac arrest is odd.

There was no hype about them though.
The oldest one started out as a walk-on

True but the platform he has is far different from Jimmy Joe's dad's. If Bronny had scored 25-30 the narrative would be far different and far louder. Huge difference.
Still the kid isn't Lebron and using the sons sins as a way to call out the father is a little dumb. It's basketball not Joe and Hunter Biden.

Meh. If it was that big of a deal he wouldn’t be playing basketball either by choice or because the team doesn’t want the liability.

The fact is Bronny was highly touted coming out of high school but anyone with a set of eyes could tell he was pretty Meh and that the hype was because of his name.

I honestly thought he should have just taken the year off. He'd be drafted still based on his name and potential, but I guess it's a win win because enow Lakers have a chance to draft him too.

I actually watched the first half. It affirmed that I can't stand Bill Walton and Bronny wasn't having a good nite. I would hope/expect that Bronny would get better. But Bill Walton made it sound like Bronny was the reason USC was 10 points ahead at half even though he hadn't scored and his defense was suspect. I couldn't take any more BW after half
