re: Bronny James erupted for 5 pts on 1-6 shooting and a few FTs. In a 134-96 Laker win.

The NBA is the most competitive league in the world. Only 450 roster spots for a sport that is played by hundreds of millions of people globally. The fact that Bronny is being gifted a roster spot because his dad is one of the greatest players ever is a joke. Imagine all of the great players who's busted their arse for years but can't break through the glass ceiling and are stuck playing in the G-League and Europe because of this guy.

I didn’t know. I had to google lol
The point was the ONLY reason he’s in the nba is because of nepotism. All these other examples you posted don’t hold weight because the kid was actually good enough to play.

I can’t think of another player where nepotism is the only reason they’re in their league. Bronny is not an nba player, full stop. Some of the other nepotism players at least had some talent and were maybe fringe guys that got to hang on because of who they were.
I certainly could be missing some, but none come to the top of mind
Keljin Blevins was for sure only on an NBA team because he was Damian Lillards cousin. He was an awful basketball player. But he also wasn't drafted, he was just a undrafted FA on a two way minimum contract and his senior year in college he averaged 11 ppg so you had a few ways you could try and justify it. Really no way to justify Bronny's draft pick and contract or him deserving any playing time on an NBA team.

Bronny has no control over this.from what I understand he is keeping his head down and trying to play hard get better and contribute

Imagine one great player.
That’s it.
He takes only one roster spot so there is one player out there somewhere who may not be given a shot because of him.
Which once again is the fault of the Lakers not him

Saying that he doesn’t belong out there isn’t “hate” or “blame” directed towards Bronny, it’s simply a factual statement based on his production.
He’s a piece of stage furniture in the play that LeBron and the lakers are acting out, that’s what people are pointing out but as far as I can tell most people stop short of trashing Bronny.

When you write multiple paragraphs in response to a post which only required “mad at the situation” if they really didn’t have anger at Bronny implies they mad at Bronny

Might want to look at the Greek freaks brother.

He’s got the field command of Larry Bird

It's ironic that nothing becomes something.
Bronny doing nothing becomes doing something because nothing keeps him with his five year multimillion dollar contract. That many $$$$ equals something frickin' everywhere.

This is America damnit
We only want our nepotism to allow people to become president of the entire nation and ceo of billion dollar companies. Playing a little sport is a bridge too far

We have had two presidents in the last 20 years that are absolute nepo babies that can’t be denied
Fortune 500 companies across the country have nepotism across the board.
It’s just funny to me, sports, which doesn’t matter for shite, is the bridge too far for people

Yea cause sports and being president are totally the same thing lol

quote:Umm, exactly you dumb frick. It’s a way bigger deal for nepotism to effect things like the presidency or Fortune 500 countries as opposed to sports
cause sports and being president are totally the same thing lol

But people care far more about nepotism in sports. It’s the entire point you literal pea brain

Yeah Mac McClung 2 Time Slam Dunk Champion should be ahead of Bronny!
Posted on 1/31/25 at 9:25 pm to RBTiger
McClung is on a two way with the Magic so blame them from not being old and hurt like the Lakers.

Has Bronny himself done anything to deserve all the hate he gets?

He doesn't belong in the League, everyone knows this.
People hate nepotism and someone not getting a roster spot because they're not related to LeBron.
