I'm honestly wondering if bronny gets "hurt" to start the year.

Then focuses on the draft, so he doesn't get exposed

NBA scouts/GMs aren't that stupid. If he can't play they'll figure it out.

Somebody would draft him just for the attention though.

Some of you guys need to go look over some NBA drafts for past 20 years.

The odds are never in your favor to make it past your first contract.

A good years draft is if you have 8-10 players still in the league after 5 years.

Hot take— he’s not any good. If his last name wasn’t James, he wouldn’t have a USC offer

He looked good in the McDonald's All American game. 15 points, 5-8 from 3

He's only not good if you're comparing him to his dad, which isn't fair. Bronny is a much better shooter at this point than his dad was, and he's technically a very sound player and well coached. Idk if his physicals will translate to the NBA, but he's got all the tools to be a very good college player

Couldn't possibly be some kind of correlation between that and the high concentration of far right conservatives on this site. Not like that's their MO or anything

That's an overstatement. Even the shittiest drafts like 2000, 2006, and 2013 had many more than that last over 5 years.

LeMao will make the Lakers trade away all their draft picks until 2035 to make sure he is on the same team.

Mathematically this can't be true.

he is a very good college prospect at 6’3 and 180lbs

good handles, excellent passer, very nice shooting stroke, plays calm and under control. however he is not elite at really anything, especially athleticism

he was second team All-League in the Mission League because he got beat out by two better players.

he did not make the LA TIMES All City Team and was 6th Team MAXPREPS All State

quote:

As a senior, he averaged 14.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game, leading his team to a 23–11 record.

not exactly impressive, long way to go to be an NBA Lottery Pick

If you could play with your son at the end of your career, wouldn’t you? Never understood why this is a knock against him.

Because it will be a selfish act that will cost that team that ultimately takes a year or 2 of money over being competitive and likely setting their franchise back a decade. Imagine banking your future on a 40+ shell of a star and an overrated lottery pick that shares the same DNA. The 40+ shell is the prize in that circus. Unacceptable to any fanbase in the league.
