No I watch the MLB, NCAAF, and NHL regular season. Sometimes the NBA too.

The NFL has been mostly unwatchable since 2012/13.

I watch college football religiously. Even MAC games.

I don't like the NFL.

Tonight was another example of a shite game in primetime.

I put some money on the Broncos to cover, so I watched the second half.

Which alter are you?

I’ll amend my statement, NFL regular season is trash. Much like the NBA, the playoffs are typically must see tv.

It’s crazy but there’s a big chance the Bills and Bengals don’t make the playoffs. Bills are 2-5 against the AFC and Bengals are 1-4.

Then you toss in the refs handing it to Denver at the end.

The officiating is so bad that it’s almost unbearable. Denver was dead THREE times on that last drive and they still managed to win.

You're blaming the refs for Buffalo having too many men on the field?

NFL playoffs are usually entertaining and are also a good way to wean off the end of the college football season for a bit.

they didn’t have a timeout before the fg

Buffalo had called timeout after the 2nd down play. They knew Denver had no timeouts and knew they were going to have to run a Chinese fire drill after kneeling on third down. In that situation, during the timeout, coaches have to emphasize who subs out and in for the field goal. The way Denver ran it should have come as a surprise to no one, especially since they did the same thing to end the first half, scrambling the special teams on the field for a FG attempt.

NFL has so much parity and most games are coming down the 4th quarter and it makes for entertaining games.
On top of that the refs play an integral role and can impact games more than any other sport including baseball who has umps calling balls and strikes

The flags ruin the flow of the game. Majority of the time you can’t even enjoy a td in real time in fear of a flag being thrown after the fact. The Colts Pats and Raiders Jets might as well have been Iowa vs Northwestern and Indiana-Purdue.

I have grown to factor this in. I never really celebrate immediately until im sure theres no flag. Something that helps is the announcers and the broadcast has gotten way better at calling out the flags quickly.
