re: Brian Flores releases statement on Lovie Smith hiring

Best thing flores could’ve done was going silent after filing the suit, stay out of the limelight and let the media/talking heads fight the fight for him. He’s gonna end up really torpedoing his chances at another job if he doesn’t kind of disappear.

Of course this may also be a kaep situation where he’s gone all in on being a martyr

Flores was abrasive and rumor was he had lost the locker room. The Giants situation sucks, but with the Rooney rule in place if an organization has found a perfect fit prior to interviewing a minority candidate then they have to go through with the interview. I don't know how the schedules worked out, but I'm sure the Giants would have brought in Flores first if they could, and who knows if he went in there first and not knowing he had already been passed over how that goes for him. I also thought he was the front runner alongside DA, but torpedoed that and any other chances with the lawsuit.

Kaep was not a good quarterback when he being beat out by Blaine F'n Gabbert his last two seasons in SF. He and his GF also torpedoed chances in Baltimore and Miami when it seemed he was on the cusp of being signed. Also didn't help himself when he had an open tryout and changed venues last minute pissing off scouts and executives and showing the rumors that he hadn't been serious about coming back were true.

I don't doubt that everything between every team was on the up and up between both, but their own games are why both probably will never get a second chance. They are as much to blame for their current situation as the NFL. In five years Flores will be better than BB and a legend if his post life persona grows as much through msm as CK's did. Dude went from losing his job to BFG to being talked about like he was the second coming and a cross between Vick, Manning, and Brady.

Although I think Lovie Smith peaked over 10 years ago, he has more experience, has won playoff games and made it to the Super Bowl as a head coach. Flores has never even made it to the playoffs and appears to be a huge, shite-stirring bitch.

Maybe he and Craperneck should get a two bedroom apartment
