That’s funny. Don’t they usually struggle for attendance? I think the Predators do that for their home games too, so this isn’t the first time a pro team has tried this for a home field advantage.

They did it when they played the Blackhawks.

Common thread here: Chicago sports fans (except Bears and Sox fans...frick those guys)

It's not college football. Brewers need to realize that.

Let anyone come to the game and enjoy it, stop acting like there is some homefield advantage with MLB fans.

Cubs are so dominant in Miller, they no-hit the frickin Astros there.

And did it in front of 24,000 fans. Impressive considering that 6 MLB teams that year didn't average 24,000 for their home games.

Im getting thrown out in September then

I'd have a DBacks tshirt in my back pocket and if it became an issue I'd throw that on and then proceed to cheer for the Cubs even more fervently.

The Brewers have great fans. They were 10th in MLB last year.

I went to a Cubs/Brewers game there last year. Saturday night, later in the season, and I think the Brewers were still in first place in the Central.

Cubs fans were everywhere - at least half the stadium. As a neutral fan, they were also obnoxious as shite. I say that as someone who thinks the non-bleacher Wrigley crowd is generally a good group and very knowledgeable.

Two things. First, this tells you how dumb and stupid Wisconsin sports fan are in general and second, it also tells you how horrible Cubs fans are.

Ive been to Coors for Cubs/Rockies the last five years. Its always 50/50 in there even when the Cubs were terrible.

Rockies have a lot of momentum and are headed in the right direction. Hopefully their fans come out more and more to support them. Coors Field is a frickin awesome ballpark.

I actually liked Miller Park a lot as well. That's a very nice stadium.

I tried hard to make the dates work this year for a trip to Miller Park, but couldn’t swing it. Going to just head back to Wrigley in June.

How does a team traveling well make them horrible fans? The parks are only like 2 hours apart at most, it shouldn't be a lot of surprise there would be a ton of Cubs fans there.

Miller is awesome, almost as cool as wrigley, nicer stadium by far but nothing beats gameday in wrigley ville. I think the main diffeeence between wrigley and miller is ones got a bunch of space (miller) which makes going to a game in a large group very enjoyable, not to mention tailgating is allowed so u can show up 3 hours prior. Wrigley has all the cool hangout spots which makes it much more female friendly and better if it’s just you and a buddy or something. I guess to each fan their own.

The tailgating at Miller is great, plus Miller has some of the best concessions of any sporting venue I've ever been to.

I like going to games at Wrigley, but I just can't help but feel incredibly cramped both inside and outside the stadium on gameday. That place could be a prime terrorist target for some nutcase.

Football teams do this all the time. People in the Pittsburgh area can't get tickets to Steeper road games.

Some teams require the Steelers game to be purchased with another home game, in hopes of deterring the fans.

That doesn't matter. Pittsburgh has the biggest bandwagon fanbase in the NFL
