This is a long time coming with how quality their front office has been over the last decade, they 100% deserve it, they kicked the can down the road again and again to the chagrin of fans and finally realized that it was time. Very happy for them and very storybook

Uecker finally being gone and Yelich being named captain. Murphy was so in the zone as a manager, he pressed every button

Almost completely homegrown. Job well done everywhere.

Agreed. No deferred contracts. No illegal money laundering or self dealing by ownership. Hats off.

Also didn't steal an entire scouting operation from another team via corporate espionage like another team that used to be good in NL, and now sucks.

Not accurate. Ryan Braun and Lorenzo Cain are still on the books and Yelich has money deferred. Those are the only three and it totals around 38 million.

Bud Selig and Bob Uecker would be proud.

They aren't in the conversation for the best team of all-time, but the 2026 Brewers are up there this century at least for best team as far as I am concerned.

They won 103 games in a good division and then mowed down teams one by one in the playoffs, most impressively the $430M Dodgers.
