Some conference schools already are having preliminary discussions w/their other conference members about possible home/home series this year, in case all of their league members can’t play, sources told

My understanding is, if say Cali schools can't play then teams like Oregon and Arizona would play once at each site to make up for the lost games.

I disagree. Based on sankeys comments that I’ve seen I think the SEC is playing. Even if they go it alone the SEC is playing.

I don't think they are going to play exhibitions just for the football revenue, but I could be wrong. The Pac is probably going to ruin this for everyone. We need the B1G to stand firm. You have to think SEC and Big 12 want football at all costs. I have no idea about the ACC. You know Clemson wants to play, but the nerds at places like Duke might not want to play along.

Would love if SEC West teams didn't have to wait 6 years to play a rotating SEC East team at home, or 12 years to play a game in their stadium

the first year of a relatively fair and balanced SEC schedule would be pretty cool

UNC and Wake Forest are having a home and home "non-conference" series because they aren't scheduled to play each other for a few years.

Played in Winston last year and Chapel Hill in 2021.

For the record, I'm totally ok with LSU playing Florida every year and Ole Miss playing Vanderbilt
