We are only finishing week 5, when the weather is still warmish and not 16 grueling weeks of football, and the guy looks like he can barely get the ball 10 yards in the air.

Brees threw a good pass to Cook on the TD to tie it up. It does looks like it takes all his might to throw the ball 25 yards...

He threw it over 35 yards in the air on that throw (from the 46ish to around the 9) and it was pretty effortless..
He hasn't reached Marino level of dead arm..

He planted his feet and stepped into the throw. Effortless is Mahomet flicking it sidearm at a full sprint.

Mahomes arm is a damn cheat code. He throws across his body with his momentum going backwards and it still goes over 50 yards in the air

And the saints are still 3-2 and in first place in the division without Mike Thomas for 4 games.

Brees has been pretty deadly 10+ yards the past 2 weeks.

Brees is still a top 10 QB in the league and maybe top 5.
