Agree. If you were gonna fire him now, after only 2 games, why not just fire him after last season

They would have been better off firing him last year. I guess they want to get ahead of other schools with coaches on the hot seat.

Just a stupid administration. Regardless, I'm happy as frick right now.

What bizarre timing. They could have fired him and got Urban last year

They'd of been better off doing this at the end of last season.

But better late than never. Surprised he lasted as long as he did.

Last season they went 5-0 and only lost by a TD to a good Oregon team in the Pac 12 CG. He should have been fired after 2018's losing season, and then after that he should have been fired after 2019. I agree, if after those 2 seasons you were going to let him keep coaching, it doesn't make sense to pull the rug in week 2 this year.

About the only thing I can think of is maybe they think and interim can salvage the season?

If you're a USC fan, you hate to be mad at them finally cutting his useless arse loose, but I understand why they would be upset.

Firing him now doesn't fix the overall problems at the top- and therefore it will likely be more of the same.

Ed Os dream job.

In all seriousness though if urban takes it and wins a NC does that put him on par with saban?

The guy would have won a NC at 3 different schools while winning the conference in the three most historical conferences.

Arguably is tougher than staying at the same place and changing the oil on the Ferrari every year.

Odd timing.

Makes sense to me. Fire the guy and start your coaching search ASAP. Moving now minimizes a blow to recruiting. LSU needs to do the same thing.
