i wonder why Sal Zizzo isn't on the team. Him and Adu worked really well together on the right flank of the U20 tourney a few years ago. They beat Brazil and Poland during that tourney.

Bob Bradley hates good athletes.

I am certainly in the minority around here but I really don't think Adu has what it takes to be an international star. He has yet to prove he can even dominate a game in the much weaker MLS.

I know size doesn't always matter but Adu is tiny and gets pushed off the ball way too much. If he wasn't so hyped when he was 12 I doubt he ever even makes the national team.

We have no creativity in the offensive 3rd of the field...and Kaka has been getting way too much room to run at players. Oh, and Beasley is terrible. I feel like I have to mention that last part, b/c no one has mentioned it yet.

I agree with this, but I do think he can be a spark off the bench and is certainly way better than DeMarcus. Enough of this old guard routine...bring in some fresh faces. Adu, and Torres.

I can't argue with some fresh faces... It won't hurt.

And I absolutely love Torres. He impressed me a lot when I went to the Guatemala game. Keeps solid possession in the midfield which really helped our back line get a breather every so often.

I'm not watching but this sounds bad.

I never wanted Bradley from Day 1...ugh.

I hope this is the last time Beas ever gets a cap in a non-Friendly game.

Additionally, Jozy hasn't done much lately either. I don't mind getting him significant minutes though b/c he could be the future of US strikers. But the fact remains that he lacks touch and can't turn on the ball well.

As I said that he creates a great opportunity...

Adu is so young still...when he was in the MLS he was like 17? THe U20 WC showed some of his ability...Sacha should definitely be gone and Adu should play.

Well he was a pre-teen when he played MLS, then went to Europe and has never seen the field.

But yeah, he is very small and is going to have a hard time becoming a star because of that. But I swear every time he is put in he creates things, and I want to see more of that.

ETA: He can't be worse than Beasley.

Y'all make great points on Adu and I hope for the best. But I still have yet to see the elite skills that merited all the fanfare. Also, at his size he needs world class speed to compensate (a la Donovan or even Michael Owen back in the day), which he does not have.

Again, I don't have a problem with giving him a shot but my hopes aren't real high on him.

Oh I'm not expecting him to be an elite international star! I just think if he got the opportunity he could be a solid piece of our starting lineup.

International referees hate USA.

And LSU!

I have been spending too much time on the Rant lately. It is nice to have a civil conversation where differing opinions aren't met with "Your an idiot", "You don't know anything about baseball" or "Douche!"

Cheers to y'all today!
