Let’s go Giants and Dbacks

Mets have collapsed beyond what I ever thought was possible even being the Mets

It's the Mets, the possibilities are always endless.

We will probably find a way to frick it up vs. the 38-80 Orioles, then we have to play the Yankees, Giants, Dodgers. Going to be a tight race all the way to the end.

While it ended up being a huge joke and talking point, the Braves basically going .500 from the All Star brake during the tougher part of the schedule was the big key in this run. They played some tough teams and could have easily folded. No losing streaks put them in position to do what they are doing now.
Hopefully we can tread some water over the next 2 weeks against those 4 teams, but gotta win 4 of the next 5.

As a lifelong Braves fan, I really fear the fact that we may make the dreaded postseason.

Better than what i thought a month ago. Honestly nobody wants to see Braves in NLDS

How has Rosario looked in rehab duty? I'm interested to see if he starts today and how they work him in the lineup.

Rosario: 1 hit and 1 walk in 21 PAs

Joe blow has been oddly absent from these threads recently

Guess we will see. He is a guy that led the AL in triples a few seasons back and is in rare category of having hit 3 HRs in game twice. He is 2 seasons removed from hitting .275/32/109 in 137 gms. He could be the best of the 4 OFs acquired.

On the flip side, there was a chance that the Indians were going to DFA him before we traded for him. I would LOVE to see him come be an effective platoon partner though.
